Luke 10:1-4, 16-17a

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.  He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.  Go!  I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.  Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.  He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.  The seventy-two returned with joy."

We, at St. Paul, are a joyful people and disciples of our Lord.  There are many ways we serve the Lord, but primarily, we care about those that need to hear about Jesus.  As an evangelical church, we carry the Word of God out into the world.  Everything we do is in the name of the Lord.  Here, in our church home, we are a Christian family of God.  When we return from the world filled with the joy of the Lord, we come here to be refreshed and renewed.  Our doors are open to all those who need to find God's peace and comfort.  We welcome you to our church home and encourage you to help serve others by going out, two by two, as the Lord has asked us to do.  Have some joy of the Lord and be part of our church and mission.
